True crime seems to take over our newspapers and TV news shows with story after story of some type of crime. it catches our attention and we begin to pay attention to those places or people we've never heard of before and make is feel sympathy for them even with the little knowledge we know about them. Like in In Cold Blood, we see Truman Capote take interest in the story and show millions of others who these people are and where they live. This began a huge spark of people wanting to learn more about the Clutters, only after they had died. Even locally, people are dragged into this internet of crime and even begin to create stories and blaming people for the crime, In "In Cold Blood" we see the people start to blame the insurance guy that made a deal with Mr.Clutter. People looked at him and made gossip. This is coming for crimes where people start to make up stories and stretch the truth.
