Literary Non-Fiction is one of the best genres for a novel in my opinion. Literary nonfiction gives an author the oppurtunity to express ideas from every side of an event. Capote takes the oppurtunity to give the viewpoint of the murderers, and not just the victims. Capote is able to expand for effect on some events in order to keep the reader entranced. His 3rd person omnipotence let's the audience gain a far better perspective over the grand scale of things. It's far different from from simple crime reporting, because if justifies the crime from both the viewpoint of the criminal and the victim.
