Literary non fiction is non fiction but withe literary elements to help create an emotional appeal for the audience. By using devices such as point of view he gives you insight into the characters lives and emotions he creates that emotional appeal. Also by switching the point of view of the characters he creates a suspensfull tone leading up to the climax. In Cold Blood differs from straight crime reporting by adding those literary elements and creating that emotional appeal and not focusing on just facts. i think Capote made his story like this and added these literary elements as a different way to hook and connect to the audience. by doing this the reader sees and understands the characters more and sees more reason behind their actions.
