I think that literary nonfiction is presenting facts and information in such a way there is a plot, setting, characters, and other tools used in story telling. Not only does Truman Capote utilize these tools he manipulates them in such a way that makes the reader feel guilt for the family and keeps the reader reading. Although the information can be found in newspapers, he presents it so that you do not know what's going to happen next. This book is different from other crime novels because the story appeals to the audiences emotions.

I agree with this because Capote presents the information in a way that makes the reader feel empathy for the murders, this could not have been done if it was presented in a straight forward way such as a newspaper article which only presents the facts and in turn does not allow the readers mind to wander while reading the piece.
