I like where the book ended personally. I feel that the book was the same at the beginning and end. At the beginning the town was quit and they kept to themselves, and at the end, it was slowly progressing back to the way it was at the beginning. It was chaotic in the middle and it made the readers feel that nothing was going to go back to normal considering how mud of an impact that clutter family murder had on the small town. I don't think the book should have ended sooner. I think that he built up enough suspense in the middle and gave all the details about the murder and didn't leave any unanswered question. So, I think the book ended perfectly.
