2. Which is more important to a persons development, nature or nurture? Personally I believe that nurture is more important in a persons development. I think this because parents play a key role in the development in a persons character. Most of the time you will see a child take after there parents. In the book, Mr. clutter is a very well rounded and successful man who is very well liked. you can see the same traits in his kids as well. Nancy is a popular, smart, caring girl who is very active in the community just like her father. Kennon is more quiet, just like his mother but he is still very well rounded. The way a child is raised really does determine the type of person you will be, this why I think it is important to a persons development to have more nurture than nature. This doesn't always mean is a good thing, for example the murders probably didn't come from good home and were obviously not raised in the same way as the Cutters. They turned out not to not be good people most likely due to their home life when they were younger. If kids are raised in a more nurturing environment it is more likely that they will turn out to be well rounded, good people, it just really depends on the parents and the influence they has on them when they were younger.
