3. To what extent are we "Products of our environment?" We are all products of our environment in the way that we take after in what we see. In most cases we behave in the same way in which the people around us do. If we are raised in a very positive environment then chances are we will turn out to be good people and as well as if we are raised in a negative one. Kids are very impressional at a young age so if a good example is set then chances are good that there will be a positive outcome in there character. This statement is only True to an extent. In some cases a child can be raised in a very negative environment but as they get older they decide to over come that and be better than the environment they were raised. A real example of this is Truman Capote. He states that he was raised in a a bad situation but he was able to overcome that and be the strong, smart person he is today.

I agree with you how environment can play a crucial role in the product of our lives, but decision making also plays a major role because it is what leads us to where we are today. Also, I agree that someone can grow up in a negative environment and then become a good person and vise versa, that relates to a lot of people in our society.
