I believe nurture is more important to a person's development than nature because how a person is raised determines how that person is when they get older in most cases. For example, Hitler may have never became who he was if his childhood wasn't so bad. A parent is the influence and mindset of the child until they are 18 years old. Another example is when catholic people are catholic because they lived in a catholic home as children and it's how they were raised. Perhaps if the parents of that person were atheists, or any other religion, the childhood wouldn't have been catholic. Nature is only the environment around a person, which is much easier to control than the way your parents raise you.
