In my own personal opinion, nurture is more important to a person's development than nature. I believe this because parental guidance and oppinion has been known to have a large affect on a child's development of attitude. If a person is raised around adults who are always drinking, cursing, and using terrible judgement, odds are that child is going to follow in the adults footsteps because that is the only guidance they have to look towards for growth. Another example of this is the cycle of abuse. Research has proven that children who were brought up by a man who abuses his wife, in the future, when that person finds his mate, he will most likely be abussive also. The cycle can also be a positive, for instance there is a commen saying that when a girl finds a future husband, that man in some cases can be a great deal like the girl's father. Because that girl developed around a hard-working male influence and was always taken care of by him, she may look for similar qualities in a future husband, because those qualities were key to her development growing up, in men.
